Hong Kong - Day 2

Woke up early wanted to have breakfast at Mido Cafe at Yau Ma Tei but only to realise that i came to too early and they are only opened at 10am! So in the end, i went to Yee Shun Milk Company which is quite nearby... Tried their reputable steamed milk... taste very much like dou hua except it is much milky in taste.


After breakfast, i took a train to Wong Tai Sin temple, upon reaching there, i felt quite disappointed because the temple is undergoing heavy renovation, didn't manage to shoot much photos at the temple. I also prayed to deity Wong Tai Sin and drew a lot and have a fortune teller to read my lot, hmm sounds quite true and accurate I find.


Next after Wong Tai Sin temple, i took a train to Tsim Sha Tsui to explore this area. I wanted to search for this dai pai dong (Tak Fei beef ball noodles) but could not find it... in the end tried this Wan Ton noodle near iSquare (a hip shopping mall) and it tasted good! I have also visited Heritage 1881 and The Peninsular hotel and get myself ready for a good spot at the harbour to shoot the Symphony of Light laser show in the evening. But again to my disappointment, the laser show is only so so but I still manage to shoot a couple of good shots prior to that. Feeling hungry by now, I decided to skip Avenue of Stars and went back to Mido Cafe, was lucky enough to be in time to make the last order, tasted their pork chop baked rice and not sure if I am hungry or the baked rice indeed taste nice hehe. Also tried their ice yuan yang which kept me wide awake for a couple of hours... So lesson learnt! Never drink coffee or tea or combination of both late at night next time!


Overall, did not took much photos today, hopefully tomorrow will be better!
