This is going to be an interesting day for me. I woke up quite early cos i am too excited about the climb today. Had breakfast with my new friend then we went to check out and get our climber's pass. This is my first climb and my new friend's 3rd climb. Soon we started our climb at 8 am. Initially i wanted to try carry my bag pack all the way but after 1km... i gave up, guess i wasn't that fit that i think i was :p so paid my guide to help me carry my bag pack which will cost me 100rm up and down the mountain.
My new friend is damn fast and is always ahead me! I saw a lot of interesting plants and nice sceneries along the climb. This climb took me 7 hours to reach my destination for the day, Laban Rata rest house, where we will have dinner and rest for the night before resuming our climb the following early morning to the Summit. Upon reaching Laban Rata rest house, i am almost totally shacked out from the climb... I can't imagine the worst to come the next day! :p
